Stainless MicroPolish

Stainless MicroPolish, founded in 1979, is a proprietary stainless steel finishing process that helps manufacturers achieve cleaner, smoother, and more consistent stainless-steel components for demanding applications. The process combines precision polishing, deburring, passivation (removing of free irons), and ultra-cleaning to produce highly refined surfaces.

By removing burrs on machined and laser-cut surfaces, Stainless MicroPolish improves surface quality and component performance while maintaining tolerances as tight as 0.0002 inches. The process is capable of handling complex geometries, including tubing with diameters as small as 0.005 inches, providing a level of precision and cleanliness beyond conventional finishing methods.

Pickling

Pickling removes surface scale and impurities from stainless steel through chemical treatments.

Passivation

Passivation creates a super thin transparent oxide film to protect stainless steel against corrosion and rust.

Polish

Polishing removes burrs and other stainless steel abnormalities, leaving a smooth gleaming finish.
